Love Yourself

Hello Bashers!

“Love yourself first & everything else falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.” - Lucille Ball

I am here to talk about something that doesn't necessarily have much to do with bullying, but positive relationships. The most important relationship you can have is with yourself! You have to love yourself before allowing anyone else to critique you. I am the first to say I am weird and quirky and that is totally okay! Sometimes during hard times or a struggle it is hard to see your light shine, but you have to push forward and keep shining. You have to move past any else's opinions about you.

Loving yourself is so magical because it is something within yourself. There are a few parts of self love that are essential;

Who are you? - Gain a sense of true self, find out who you are, your likes and dislikes.

What do you need? - Figure out what is best for you and stick with that!

Lastly, you need to realize who is in control, YOU! Don't allow anyone to break you down, but also don't rely on anyone else to build you up. It is your responsibility to create your own happiness and to own it.

Thank you all for reading! I will start blogging much more frequently so stay tuned! Make sure you are following BOB on all of our social media accounts!

Spring Into 2017

Hello Bashers! It is now 2017, a year that I have been waiting for because it has so many important events! I turn 18 in April, have my senior prom, and I graduate from high school (in 133 days), just to name a few. I am very eager for all of my new adventures and lessons this year has in store. I am also very excited to continue to expand the Bash Out Bullying brand this year! I am so grateful for all the support and am cannot wait to share new things with you all! I have an overall New Years Resolution to be determined! For me being determined means continuing to push even when there are setbacks or struggles. I am determined to end my school year with a bang and start my college life on a great note! So let's spring into 2017 with open hearts, minds and ideas!

Stay strong & stay positive,
Courtney Jay 💜
